Once a user has joined the FlakeIN family, he or she has full access to seventeen categories (called Bowls) that contain activities groups of people are doing in their area:

- The activities within each Bowl are called Spoons, which are actually small chatrooms for up to 3-6 people, created by other nearby users.

- Want to see whos around you? TheMilkyWay shows you profiles of users nearby who are currently stirring it up in Spoons, making connections and setting up times to hangout.

-Clicking on a users Profile allows you to find out more about the people near you, see pictures of them, and join spoons that they are currently in.
